John 16:33 says

side note: for those of you who (like me) don’t know what take heart means, wordnetweb.princeton.edu says take heart: buck up, gain courage.

I love how nonchalantly Jesus says, “I’ve conquered the world” (okay well maybe this is just how i read it). He says, I’m gonna leave you and you’re going to have problems and difficult times, but just have a little courage and faith, cause I conquered the darkness for you. You’re welcome.

Oh, and by the way, here’s the Holy Spirit as an added bonus to walk with you and give you life and joy and peace and everything you could ever think to ask for times infinity just because I love you…
